Steps to Set and Manifest Goals Using Shamanic Practices

Connect to Your Inner Self
Begin by creating a quiet, sacred space where you can reflect without distractions. Meditate or use a shamanic journey to connect with your inner self and uncover what truly matters to you. What is your heart calling you toward?

Visualise the Outcome
In shamanism, visualization is a key tool for setting intentions. Envision your goal as if it has already been achieved. Use all your senses to bring this vision to life. How does it feel, look, and sound? This practice strengthens the energy around your intention.

Set Intentions, Not Just Goals
Transform your goal into an intention that reflects its deeper meaning. For example:

Goal: “I want to be healthier.”

Intention: “I intend to honour my body with nourishing food, movement, and rest to feel vibrant and balanced.”

Call in Support from Nature and Spirit
Shamans often work with the elements, animal allies, and spirit guides. You can do this too by calling upon the energies that resonate with your goal. For example, if your intention involves growth, you might work with the energy of trees or the earth element for grounding and support.

Use Rituals to Anchor Your Intention
Rituals help solidify your intention and connect you to the spiritual realm. Light a candle, create a vision board, or write your intention on paper and release it into a stream. These acts symbolize commitment and invite the universe to co-create with you.

Stay Present and Open
Intention is about aligning with the process, not just the outcome. Stay mindful of opportunities and synchronicities that arise, even if they don’t look like what you expected. Trust that the universe is working in your favour.
