  • Payment information
    A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your place, and any outstanding balance should be paid four weeks prior to course start date. Details will be provided in the booking confirmation email.

    Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer – details will be provided by email after you submit this form.

  • Dietary

  • All meals provided are vegetarian. Due to the additional food costs and preparation required for restricted diets, we are only able to cater for this when due to medical conditions or food allergies. Therefore, please only tick the appropriate dietary requirement box/es on the booking form if this applies.

  • Due to the varied nature and content of our workshops/retreats it is essential that you let us know about any current medical conditions, medications or mental health issues that may affect your participation.
  • Bursary Fund Donation

    A bursary fund has been established to support those who wish to enrol in a course but do not have the financial means to cover the full fee. Donations to the fund would be greatly appreciated.

  • Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

    Stand Alone Courses

    This includes the Introduction to Shamanism weekends, Toltec Shamanism courses, Sweatlodge Training & Healing Circle Training.

    The deposits for the stand alone courses are between £50 and £150 depending on the length and structure of the course and can be found on the booking forms for each course. The deposits are due at the time of booking, the outstanding balance is due four weeks prior to the workshop.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you cancel a workshop:
    When given reasonable notice (four weeks or more prior to the start of the event), your deposit can be forwarded to any other Embracing Shamanism events. Any outstanding balances that we may have received will be refunded, or also forwarded if you wish.

    No return of payment will be made for short notice cancellations (less than four weeks prior to the start of the event).

    Exceptions for short notice cancellations:
    If your place can be easily filled, we will refund your outstanding balance but your deposit will be retained to cover administration costs.

    If the reason for your cancellation is an emergency such as illness or bereavement, we will happily refund the outstanding balance, and the deposit can be transferred to another Embracing Shamanism course.

    Training Courses

    One Year and 18 month Shamanic Practitioner Training, Shamanic Teacher Training, The Journey Beyond, and Nature Intelligence One Year course.

    A deposit of £200 will secure a place on a training course and is due at the time of booking. The outstanding balance will be paid in several instalments over the duration of the training. Each payment is due four weeks prior to the individual gatherings of each training course.  

    Cancellation policy

    If you cancel a training:
    If you cancel your place two months or more prior to the event, £150 of your deposit can be forwarded to any other Embracing Shamanism event and we retain £50 to cover administration costs.

    The deposit cannot be transferred to another Embracing Shamanism event for short notice cancellations (less than two months prior to the start of the course), and no return of payments for the first instalment will be issued.

    Exceptions for short notice cancellations:
    If your place can be easily filled, we will refund the first instalment that was due four weeks prior to the start of the course, and your deposit will be retained to cover administration costs.

    If the reason for your cancellation is an emergency such as illness or bereavement, we will happily refund the outstanding balance and the deposit can be used for anther Embracing Shamanism course.

    Course Cancellation

    In the unlikely event of cancellation of a course, all participants will receive a full refund on any payments they have made, including the deposit.

    Concessionary Rates

    Some concessionary rates are available for the unemployed and low waged and vary for each workshop.
